On August 3 we visited the Barasoain Church (started in 1885) in nearby Malolos.  This is a historic building because the  Philippine Revolutionary Congress was held here in 1898-99. The first constitution was drafted here.  We went with the Bremners and the Wests and because there was no caretaker evident we went up into the bell tower (and saw some BATS!!)
