We had a Senior's activity on August 30.  We visited and toured the old walled city of Intramuros in downtown Manila.  It was built in the 1700's and has had several earthquakes, fires, typhoons, and a world war since then.  There was a lot of destruction over the years but it has always been rebuilt.
